Dr. Lora Baker

DPM, FACFAS, FAPWCA

Born and raised in New Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Dr. Baker received her undergraduate Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Natural Science at Muhlenberg College, Allentown, PennsylvaniaShe graduated with honors, Cum Laude, and was granted her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in May of 2000 and completed Surgical Residency Training for foot and ankle surgery in Philadelphia at Tenet Parkview Hospital, Philadelphia.

Dr. Baker joined Allentown Family Foot Care in July of 2002 and enjoys treating all aspects of foot, ankle, and heel disorders, specially trained in the treatment and prevention of diabetic foot complications. She also has a special interest in treating patients with state-of-the-art heel pain treatment options — both surgical and non-surgical, priding herself as a leading expert in custom orthotics and bracing options!

Dr. Baker has the distinction of holding multiple Board, Fellowship, and Certificates to her name:

  • Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery
  • Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons
  • American Professional Wound Care Association
  • Certified Wound Care specialist

Dr. Baker likes to keep her athletes on their toes as she is an avid runner and enjoys competing in 5Ks and ½ marathons on a regular basis. She volunteers at St. Joseph the Worker Church and enjoys spending time outdoors; hiking, playing soccer, and track and field with her three kids!
