I enjoy treating sports injuries and have seen my share of overuse injuries over the years. A two-year bout of chronic recurring tendonitis during college track seasons, which ‘magically’ resolved with a set of prescription orthotics, is what led me to a career in Podiatric medicine. I have 28 years under my belt of military service. As a former Navy SEAL, I understand the importance of healthy feet in connection to vigorous exercise and job requirements. In 1988, I returned to active duty to develop a podiatric surgical residency program at the National Naval Medical Center. I also served as a Medical Consultant to the United States Naval Academy and other medical facilities. I finished my service years as a podiatric consultant assigned to the SEAL Training Command and Naval Special Warfare. I am a Certified pedorthist with an orthotic fabrication background.

Dr. Ann C. Anderson became interested in a career of foot and ankle surgery after her 20 years experience as a ballet dancer. Any dancer knows the strain that dancing places on your feet, especially when crammed into those Pointe shoes for hours at practice. She understands the importance of preserving an active lifestyle, having a special interest with patients with complicated wounds and preserving their ability to walk. No matter how serious a problem, everyone wants to get back to his or her normal routine. Having a passion for a sport, any injury can cause us to lose hope when injured. Come see Dr. Anderson and get some hope and insight on your injury.

Dr Gonzalez continues to remain personally active in sports, running in regular local road races
