Dr. Ann Anderson, a highly skilled podiatrist, brings a unique perspective to her practice with a background as a ballet dancer. Originally from Poughkeepsie, New York, she developed a passion for foot and ankle surgery through her personal experience and 20 years of involvement in ballet.

Dr. Anderson’s educational journey began with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Cornell University. Eager to pursue her interest in podiatric medicine, she earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in Philadelphia. To further refine her surgical skills and expertise, she completed a three-year reconstructive foot and ankle surgical residency training at INOVA Fairfax Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia. During her residency, Dr. Anderson received comprehensive training in foot and ankle reconstruction, revisional surgery, and wound care/limb salvage at the esteemed Georgetown University Hospital Limb Center.

With her extensive experience, Dr. Anderson is passionate about treating patients in all stages of their lives from children in need of orthotics to adults with complex medical and foot concerns. Dr. Anderson understands the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle and is dedicated to providing comprehensive care throughout all stages of treatment, from minor in office procedures to bracing and custom orthotics.

Dr. Anderson’s commitment to excellence is evident through her multiple board certifications, fellowships, and certificates. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine demonstrating her expertise and adherence to the highest standards of professional practice. Additionally, she is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a member of the American Professional Wound Care Association.

Since July of 2005, Dr. Anderson has been practicing with Allentown Family Foot Care, PC, where she continues to provide exceptional care to her patients. Beyond her medical practice, she actively engages in her local community. Dr. Anderson is involved with the Eastern PA Down Syndrome Center, where she volunteers and raises funds to advocate for individuals with Down Syndrome. She also volunteers and participates at St. Joseph the Worker Church, contributing to the betterment of her community and in her children’s school district.

Dr. Anderson’s unique background, extensive expertise, and dedication to her patients and community make her a highly respected physician.
