Podiatric Diagnostic Ultrasound
Ultrasound is sound that has a frequency higher than the range of human hearing which is 20,000 cycles/second or 20 kHz. Ultrasound simply describes sound that has a pitch too high for us to hear.
Images viewed with diagnostic ultrasound appear in ranging shades from bright Lite-hyperechoic indicating a boney structure to soft tissue structures appearing Grey-hyperechoic or even black-anechoic. Our podiatric physicians commonly utilize this technology to evaluate many podiatric concerns.
We incorporate this imaging technology in the diagnosis and treatment of the following:

The F-Scan System
