Dr. Lora Baker, a highly skilled and compassionate podiatric surgeon, is dedicated to providing comprehensive foot and ankle care. Born and raised in New Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, she discovered her passion for podiatric medicine at an early age. Dr. Baker pursued her academic journey at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Natural Science with honors, graduating Cum Laude.

Driven by her passion for podiatric medicine, Dr. Baker obtained her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from Temple University School of Podiatric Medicine in May of 2000. Her commitment to excellence and furthering her expertise led her to complete her Surgical Residency Training for foot and ankle surgery at Tenet Parkview Hospital in Philadelphia.

In July of 2002, Dr. Baker joined Allentown Family Foot Care, where she has been providing exceptional care to patients ever since. She is well-versed in treating a wide range of foot, ankle, and heel disorders and has received specialized training in the treatment and prevention of diabetic foot complications. Dr. Baker also has a particular interest in state-of-the-art heel pain treatment options, both surgical and non-surgical. She prides herself on being a leading expert in custom orthotics and bracing options, ensuring her patients receive personalized and effective treatment.

Dr. Baker's commitment to excellence is evident through her multiple board certifications, fellowships, and certificates. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, signifying her expertise and adherence to high standards of professional practice. Additionally, she is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a member of the American Professional Wound Care Association. Dr. Baker's dedication to wound care is further exemplified by her certification as a wound care specialist, ensuring her patients receive comprehensive and specialized care.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Baker enjoys an active lifestyle. As an avid runner, she regularly competes in 5Ks and half marathons, ensuring she stays active and understands the needs of her athletic patients. She also volunteers her time at St. Joseph the Worker Church, giving back to her community. Dr. Baker cherishes spending time outdoors, engaging in activities such as hiking, playing soccer, and participating in track and field events with her three children.
